The Fans of Barbaro Memorial Fund

The Fans of Barbaro Memorial Fund has been established in honor of all the FOB's who have so generously given of their time and money to help so many horses in need.

It is the goal of this fund to rescue a horse or horses from feed-lots that are being sent to slaughter.  This fund will pay for the ransom of the horse, temporary housing, veterinarian services (such as physical, shots, coggins test, health certificate, farrier care) and for the transport to Miracle Horse Rescue where it will either live out the remainder of its life receiving the love and care it so justly deserves or will be placed in Miracle Horse Rescues Adoption program, which is to locate a caring, responsible , FOREVER home. 

This program has a committee which locates the horses in need and begins the logistics of getting it to Miracle Horse Rescue.  Horse in need are not limited to a specific breed but consist of all horses that are at high risk for being sent to slaughter.
