Calico is a 19 year old Paint Mare.
Calico has a tendency to come up sore in her right shoulder due to arthritis. She can be ridden once in awhile but it must be on flat ground, and at a walk. She does very well on joint supplements but this does not eliminate the problem. According to her former owner, she can come up sore even when she has not been ridden, but it is not an everyday occurrence.
Additionally, her former owner states that Calico rides with a Hackamore and you should be an experienced rider.
