Charo is a 22 year old TB mare.
She has been with us now for two weeks. When she arrived she was a great deal thinner, but is beginning to put her weight on. It does not take them long to lose it, but it seems a lot longer to put it back on. She does have a fungus on her rump area that we are presently treating and hopefully will clear up soon. Charo is fairly spirited but not aggressive. We are awaiting additional information as to her abilities. We do know there is a chance she has not been ridden in ten or fifteen years. Her previous owner had a stroke and it was left up to the children to decide where the horses would go. They had been told about Miracle through a Nevada Brand Inspector and made the call. All of this took a matter of two days to arrange. We are happy that we were able to assist this family in their time of need.
We will provide more information as we obtain it, and we will let you know of Charo's rehabilitation progress.
