Jeep arrived at the Miracle Horse Facility on March 24th, 2001.
He is a 13 year old Registered Thoroughbred Gelding. He was utilized as a Hunter/Jumper, he is Beautiful and a Gentleman. However, Jeep suffers from Navicular Disease which is an inflammation of the small navicular bone and bursa inside the hoof between the coffin bone and the tendon that flexes or bends back the coffin joint.
Go to http://www.equus.com/webnavicular.htm for more details.
Jeep does not appear to be in pain nor does he have any problems stepping out. He does require specials shoes to illeviate any discomfort he may have.
All veterinarian records are on file.
Jeeps Jumper days are over. He would make a wonderful show horse as he is serviceably sound for riding "on the flat", but absolutely no jumping. He requires shoes, with pads. An intermediate/experienced rider required.
Jeep was adopted 10/28/2001
