Miss Zim

Miss Zim

Miss Zim is a beautiful, healthy 21 year old Paint Mare.

Miss Zim came to us because her owner did not want to move her from the desert to the cold weather inwhich they are moving to. Miss Zim also came to us because her former owner wanted to ensure that she was adopted to a good home who will love and care for just as they had.

Miss Zim is a very easy keeper, loves her food. She is a bit skittish and requires a great deal of patience. She does not like anyone approaching her on her right side. This has been an issue with her since she was purchased at the age of 10 and has continued for the past 11 years with her former owner. Miss Zim can be ridden with a snaffle bit and must have a loose rein. She will drop her head and watches where she is going. On the trail she will watch what is around her. We were informed that she has never boogered but will be cautious of something she is not sure of. Miss Zim has never had a set of shoes on, her feet are extremely hard. She is a no nonsense kinda girl, get in do her feet and get out. She does not like to have her feet held onto for long periods of time. She will require a farrier with patience and and owner who will stand there while she is having her feet done, if tied to have feet done she will pull back in a panic and sit down.

Miss Zim DOES require an experienced owner/rider with patience and knowledge.
