Powder is between 8 and 12 years old. She is a grade mare, and has A LOT of attitude and some serious issues. She must be tranqulized to have her feet done. She will spin and kick. Since she has been here, we have had one person on her and when asked to move forward she exploded and dumped the individual.
She cannot be turned-out into a large area as she is very difficult to catch up. She has since been placed in an individual stall and she is now taking treats and cubes from our hand. We are not sure what has occured in her life, but with the issues she has we can only assume they have not been pleasant.
The only type of home she could be placed in is someone who has a great deal of time and patience to work with her, additonally we feel it advisable that she be sent to an understanding, kind, and professional trainer.
Should Powder not find the right person for her, she will remain with MHR the rest of her life.
