Shiloh

Shiloh

Shiloh (1984), Appaloosa with Moon Blindness. We obtained Shiloh from Respect Horses in Las Vegas, Nevada. She became blind from non treatment of an eye infection. Shiloh had violent head shaking due to the light hurting her eyes. Additionally, her eyes had to be cleaned at least three times per day.

We did however find a wonderful solution to her problem and that is THE GUARDIAN MASK. I spoke with Sid who is not only the owner but the inventor of Guardian Mask and he explained how the mask worked. Sid donated a mask to Shiloh and it has made a 110% difference in her. There is NO head shaking and the eye washing has been dropped down to once a day for sanitary purposes.

Shiloh now enjoys standing in the sunlight as the mask has virutally eliminated the UV Rays from penetrating and reaching her eyes. We at Miracle Horse Rescue highly recommend this mask for everyday use even for those horses without eye problem as it is extremly durable and we believe you will like the easy on and off for cleaning. It's unbelievable!!!!.

Update May 31, 2009

Shiloh was found in her pen this morning after having passed peacefully in her sleep. She had eaten dinner the night before and showed no sign of any distress. When found, her companion General was standing over her body. Shiloh is free and sees again. Sleep well, sweet sweet girl.
